There’s a place that comes to mind when I think about the calm and quiet that winter brings. It’s not this busy city where we live, but the quietest, most snow-covered spot. A tiny house, a wood stove, and soft snow falling.
This card features an original illustration of that scene: a tiny house, a sky full of snow, and the tiniest wisp of smoke from that little wood stove. The house and wood smoke are printed in a deep, but soft blue, and the snow is blind debossed (just the impression, no ink at all!) into the night sky.
