This Coptic stitched album or guest book is covered with a richly colored chiyogami (Japanese silkscreened) paper with multicolored blossoms in red, pale blue, and soft green, with gold details, on a black background.
Bound by hand with a Coptic stitch (open, knotted, visible stitching along the spine) in black waxed Irish linen thread, the book lies completely flat when open. There is plenty of room to add photos and writing throughout and the book closes elegantly with a 1.5" wide black satin ribbon. This would make a wonderful guest book or photo album for wedding or family pictures. This sturdy binding is designed to be both functional and beautiful, and will hold up to a great deal of wear and tear.
