This handbound 5"w x 7"h blank book features a 1930s Cavallini-printed New York City subway map on the covers - midtown Manhattan and the Upper West Side & Hudson River on the front, and lower Manhattan on the back.
The pages are made from a smooth Magnani Velata middleweight, 100% acid free paper and the book is bound with waxed dark brown linen thread in a coptic stitch (knotted, open-spine) that allows the book to lie flat when open. The paper has a great weight for lots of writing and the spine stitching is quite strong.
This journal has a sturdy stitching structure designed to stand up to plenty of use. Made from 100% acid-free archival materials.
