Growing up in the Midwest under wide expanses of stars, I've always thought of the Orion constellation as a point of clear beauty in the middle of icy winters. So, it only seems appropriate that this wintry image would be the background for a new year's card!

This set of 5 square cards features a chart of the winter sky with Orion rising in the lower lefthand corner, printed in a hand mixed icy blue ink, with "happy new year" in lowercase type across the bottom of the card in a deep blue ink. Each card is letterpress printed by hand and the inside of each card is blank.

The cards are printed on bright white 100% cotton Crane's Lettra paper and measure 4.75" x 4.75" square when folded, and the set includes 5 heavy kraft brown envelopes. The finished sets are packaged in biodegradable cellophane.
