I’ve been gluing and sewing away, getting a few orders out and also creating as many new journals as I can, with a huge stack of beautiful new Chiyogami (Japanese silkscreened) papers. These will all be done shortly, and up on Etsy and the site – enjoy!

New covers, ready to be sewn up! How much do you love that green floral/chrysanthemum pattern on the right? I think that just may be my new favorite! And – a few of these are up on Etsy now!
Back to work!

I love your site! I found it after googling letterpress blogs since I just started in on the LP madness and found your site information and motivational! Love your journals and will be picking one up… as soon as I can decide between all the pretty designs. =) I used chiyogami as an envelope liner and belly band for one of my recent custom wedding invitation sets for a customer and LOVE IT! I can’t believe how rich the paper is. The website pictures do chiyogami paper no justice.
Anyhow, just wanted to let you know how happy your blog makes me feel.

love the chrysanthemum pattern. i wish i were more of a journaler.
Thanks to both of you! I’m having a little too much fun with the new chiyogami papers. It seems that even with detailed photos, there’s just not a perfect way to capture how wonderful the textures are in person, but they are so lovely!
